Duties:Concrete sampling and
slump testing
Soil sampling and density
compaction testing
Construction
inspections: reinforcement, post-tension cables, weld / bolt inspections
Other duties may be
assigned
Expectations:
Communicate with the Dispatch,
advising them of current job status and locations as required.
Communicate with Superintendents,
County / City Inspectors and Site Crews.
Ability to read and
comprehend simple instructions, blue prints, project specifications. Ability to
report data in a complete, timely and understandable fashion. Daily reporting
will require the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
The physical demands
described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is
occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; and stand, stoop, kneel,
crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
While performing the
duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical
parts. The employee is frequently exposed to typical outdoor Florida weather
conditions. Including, but not limited to extreme heat, sun, wet and/or humid
conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be at times loud.
Hours will vary daily/weekly.
Some overnight and weekend work may be required.
